Director of Operations

Amanda began her journey in funeral service when she was 16.  While at the funeral home as a teenager, working with veteran families and witnessing final military honors, she realized the immeasurable sacrifice of those men and women and I decided she needed to earn her blessings as an American. She joined the U.S. Navy and served 6 years as a Hospital Corpsman.

She used her education benefits while in the Navy to obtain her Associate of Mortuary Science. With many more benefits available, She furthered her education with a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science and a Master of Forensic Science. For a brief time she applied those degrees to the work she did as a forensic toxicologist for the State of New Mexico, but for as much as she loved it, she loved funeral service more. I returned to the funeral home and never left again.

She spent some time in the independent funeral company, embalming, directing, and managing at French Funerals and Cremations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She also acquired some corporate funeral service skills and had spent the past four years operating a firm in Bryan/College Station, Texas.

Outside of the office, her heart and soul belong to her family. Amanda is married and they have two children.
